Terms & Conditions
Mylenya Studio
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between Mylenya Studio (“Provider”) and the client (“Client”), governed by the laws of the State of California.
1. Scope of Services
This agreement covers photography and/or videography services for weddings, quinceañeras, and social events, including photos, videos, albums, prints, and digital media.
All proofs, raw files, unedited footage, negatives, and samples remain the exclusive intellectual property of Mylenya Studio and may be used for portfolio, marketing, advertising, website, or social media purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under California law, Mylenya Studio shall not be liable for loss, damage, delay, or failure caused by equipment malfunction, memory card failure, venue restrictions, acts of third parties, or events beyond reasonable control.
Any liability shall be limited to the total amount paid under this agreement. No cash refunds shall be issued. Any compensation shall be provided only in the form of studio credit.
3. Exclusive Photographer Clause
No other photographers or videographers may interfere with or direct services while Mylenya Studio is working. Violation constitutes a material breach and may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
4. Reservation & Non-Refundable Deposit
Upon booking, the agreed date and time are reserved exclusively. All deposits are non-refundable, regardless of cancellation or rescheduling.
5. Payment Terms
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required at booking. The remaining balance is due no later than seven (7) days prior to the event. Failure to pay may result in cancellation without obligation to perform services.
6. No Verbal Agreements
No verbal agreements are valid. Any modification must be in writing and signed by both parties.
7. Pickup, Storage & Abandonment
Finished work must be picked up within 30 days of notification. After that period, Mylenya Studio is not responsible for loss or damage. A $5 weekly storage fee may apply.

9. Force Majeure
Services are subject to events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, fire, illness, government restrictions, or power outages.
10. Substitute Photographer
Mylenya Studio may substitute another qualified professional if necessary due to illness or emergency.
11. Artistic Style
Photography and videography are artistic services. Specific shots, moments, or individuals are not guaranteed.
12. Non-Solicitation
The Client agrees not to hire or contract Mylenya Studio personnel directly or indirectly for two (2) years following the event.
13. Service Hours
Photography services conclude at 10:00 p.m. Additional time is subject to availability and additional fees.
14. Delivery Timeline
Final packages are delivered within 10–12 weeks after the event.
15. Client-Provided Materials
Music, designs, and selections must be provided no later than 45 days before the event. Delays caused by late submission are the Client’s responsibility.
16. Proofs & Selections
Proofs will be delivered within 2–3 weeks after the event. The Client has three (3) weeks to submit selections.
17. Cancellation
Cancellation by the Client results in liquidated damages equal to 33% of the total contract value, in addition to forfeiture of the deposit.
18. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Los Angeles County.
19. Acceptance
By booking services, the Client acknowledges having read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
